AuthorHey Guys :) My name is Kayla Innocent and, I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. I am currently a social work major and will be graduating on May 2024. Just some fun facts about me I am a middle child of 12. I have a 7-month-old son (also known as my dog ) named Knox. I love to draw, journal, and paint in my free time. I have decided to go on this trip because I always wanted to experience Africa and I thought to do it with my college colleagues and, learn more about their history. I wanted an authentic experience and, by just visiting I knew I was not going to get that. I hope to gain more knowledge on this trip. I want to be a sponge and soak up all the information that I possibly can. I also hope to gain some wonderful experiences with the Rwandan people and learn their stories.
