About ZhannaZhanna Reed is multi-modal teaching-artist, currently residing in Buffalo, NY. Her many talents were nurtured while attending Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts. Zhanna is a Magna Cum Laude Alumna of Buffalo State University of New York, from where she holds an Arts degree. Devoted service, research, and natural leadership earned her the Arts and Humanities Dean’s Award, and the SUNY Chancellor's Award. Zhanna is currently Miss Heart of New York 2022, a local title holder with the Miss New York and Miss America Organization. Zhanna’s work focuses on self-expression, inter-generational healing and art. She educates and encourages the community through her initiative “Live LAB With Me” to use creative arts practices for wellness. As a former teaching artist with the Anne Frank Project, Zhanna is excited to go to Rwanda to learn the foundation and techniques of the various arts within her practice. ArchivesCategories |
