Day 11

We went Chimpanzee trekking and I truly disliked it! We walked up and down hill for about 3-4 hours. We did this because we wanted to get a good look for the chimpanzees in the trees. This was truly one or the hardest things
I ever had to do and it pushed me to another limit! I made it through though. I feel like the old Tierra would have given up. My body hurts and I feel gross from all the dirt and sweat. Did a lot of exercising today. If you want a good exercise go trekking in Africa. On a positive note after i caught my breath and stopped falling It was cool to see the monkeys in there habitat though. I don't have pictures from this experience because if I would have moved i would have fell. hahaha!

    About Tierra

My name is Tierra Purdue and I am a Applied Mathematics major with a concentration in statistics and a minor in Business Economics! With having this study background I feel honored to go to Rwanda and see firsthand how much they have grown over the years!
I would like to go to Rwanda because I know this will be a learning experience like no other. I feel as though the knowledge I will gain from this experience will help me learn more about myself.
